The DIMES program of Palestine Court #49 participated in the Mobile Parks and Recreation STEM Program on Saturday, May 20th, 2023. This event was free and open to the public, and featured a variety of hands-on STEM activities for kids of all ages.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore the wonders of wind energy, build their own wind turbines, and test them out! They were also provided with guided help from local STEM professionals, as well as volunteers from local colleges and universities.
The STEM Saturday was a great success, with over 100 people in attendance. It was a fun and educational event that helped to promote STEM education in the Mobile community.
